Welcome to Awanas at Grace Brethren Church!

Dear Parent,

Thank you for your interest in the Awana Clubs at Grace Brethren.   Although the Awana Ministry is new to us, it has a long history of success.   It is a tried and true program that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.   We are excited to have your children join us!

Click here to download and fill out a Registration Form, or fill one out at the church.
What will a typical Awana Club night look like?

GAME TIME  stressing healthy competition with emphasis on having fun
and good sportsmanship—win or lose.
LARGE GROUP TIME  with singing and teaching from God’s Word in a
way that is fun and relevant to the children’s lives.
HANDBOOK TIME  consists of time spent where clubbers recite Bible
verses from their handbooks (memorized at home during the week).

Where do I go to pick up my children?
  • Cubbies will be dismissed from the 3rd and 4th Grade Sunday School Room (upstairs next to the bathroom on the east wing)
  • Sparks will be dismissed from 5th and 6th grade room (upstairs on the east wing)
  • T and T boys will be dismissed from Room 22 (upstairs on the west wing)
  • T and T girls will be dismissed from Room 27 (upstairs on the west wing)
ALL CUBBIES, SPARKS, AND T AND T’S MUST BE PICKED UP BY A PARENT OR OTHER ADULT.

What can I do to help?
  • It is important that your clubber comes prepared each week. To help ensure this, encourage your clubber to study his/her handbook each week and come prepared to say at least one section per club night.
  • Have your child wear sneakers – game time is much safer this way.
  • Do your best to be prompt!
Who are the Awana Leaders?

All Awana Leaders are committed to your children, have a personal relationship with Christ, and have a desire to serve the Lord through this ministry.  Leaders have attended Grace Brethren regularly for at least 6 months and have undergone a background check.

Can I visit my child's Awana Club?

You are more than welcome to visit in your child’s club.  Please let your child’s Leader know, and sign in with our secretary for a ''visitor pass''.
