Senior Pastor Robert Wagner

Robert W. Wagner has been the pastor of the Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County since its inception in 1982.

Bob is a graduate of Gordon College in Massachusetts and attended Trinity Evangelical Seminary in Illinois. Following seminary, he married Diana Simmons, settled in Southern Maryland and taught for 7 years at Taney Junior High in Camp Springs. He served on staff at the Grace Brethren Church in Temple Hills, Maryland for eleven years prior to assuming the work in Calvert County. Bob and his wife Diana have three children: Saralyn, Rebecca, and Joel.

Bob is a "people person" whose love for the Lord and His Word is evident as he shares God's principles for life. He sees the Christian life as an exciting way to live based on the fact that the Good News is not about our "achieving" but our receiving and responding to God's love for us.
