Pastor Jay McKinley

Pastor Jay McKinley came to serve the Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County in August of 2000. He and his wife, Bari-tennette, have been happily married for over 20 years, and have three children - Jami, Jessi and Jon.

Pastor Jay was born and raised in the Chicago area specifically, Northwest Indiana. Following in his father's footsteps, he attended Grace College, in Winona Lake, Indiana. Having strong interest in music, Jay graduated from Grace in 1982 with a degree in Music Management.

While serving in the specialized area of church music, Pastor McKinley sensed that God was leading him into a fuller-orbed pastoral ministry. He pursued further studies at Grace Theological Seminary, Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Capitol Bible Seminary and was ordained in the Fellowship of Grace Brethren churches. He came to the Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County having served congregations in Indiana, Ohio, and in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Jay presently serves as an Associate Pastor, with specific responsibilities in Assimilation, Discipleship, Outreach and Pastoral Care.
