Merry Christmas

Dear Family and Friends,

This is a wonderful time of the year. It is not wonderful because of what gifts we may receive or because of all the other festivities. It is wonderful because of what was given to us that first Christmas morn. God physically came into our world!! How incredible. The Savior came.

This should cause us to rejoice and be glad regardless of what we may or may not receive. The greatest gift that we could possibly receive has already been given. Christ came for you. He came for me. Life has meaning. Christ’s coming tells us that we are important.

We extend our warmest greetings to each of you with this reminder: Celebrate and enjoy the wonderful gift of knowing that you are loved with an everlasting love.

May your Christmas be blessed in a multitude of ways by Him whose birth we celebrate.

Join us as we together praise Him who is worthy of all our praise.

Have a blessed Christmas.

An Easter Thought from Pastor Wagner

An Easter Thought

Max Lucado wrote in his book Six Hours One Friday that the

cross tells us that there are 3 anchor points that were established

for us.  They are:

  1. My life is not futile.  Jesus’ death tells us that we have worth.  Life has meaning.

  1. My failures are not fatal.  Jesus died for all our sins.  He

is ready to forgive.

  1. My death is not final.  This is not all there is to life.  God

has more in store for us.  Because Jesus lives, we will live too.

The resurrection makes all the difference in the world.  Without

the resurrection Christianity is no different than any other religion.  Christ’s resurrection begs us to answer the question, “who do you say Jesus is?”  There is no middle ground between Jesus being the savior or Jesus being a lunatic.  We have to decide which He is.  That decision has eternal consequences.  The resurrection attests to the fact that He is who He says that He is.

I trust that you have made the decision to believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

So celebrate!!  Sing for gladness.  Praise Him for His kindness.  Rejoice that He lives and He lives for you and me.

Happy Easter.
